I’m going to be honest–I’m not sure the business model that lets them give this many points to its users. I would grab this card now before Chase Bank comes to its collective senses.

The most incredible part of the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card is the amount of points you can earn at IHG Hotels and Resorts. It is possible to earn up to 26x points per dollar when you stay at an IHG Hotel or Resort. Let me say that again…TWENTY SIX TIMES…Like, again, I just don’t understand how it works for the company. But, you know what? It doesn’t matter because it works for US so insanely well!!

So, once you reach Platinum Elite Status, a benefit of the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card–You’ve got 26x the points when you pay for your stay with the card…and I believe on things you buy at the resorts also–but I would call and verify that.

Now, if you’re a skeptic like me, you’re probably thinking ‘Well, maybe IHG hotels are gross and no one wants to stay there anyway?’ Surprise! There are SO many options across SO many brands on SO many budget points. Check out the brands below.
I was so jazzed when I saw the brands included some of my family’s favorites for indulgent stays, road trip staples and family friendly (read toddler-friendly) hotels. My husband and I love a stay at an InterContinental for a luxurious getaway. Hotel Indigos and Kimptons are classic stays for us when we’re on the road or in a new city and know we need somewhere fun and easy to crash for a night or two. Holiday Inns are just, I mean, so classic that they’re in lyrics of every genre of song…my personal favorite being “hotel, motel, Holiday Inn.”

Again, this is higher than any credit card I’ve ever had for these categories. That means I’m basically earning our family trip to Ireland when I’m filling up to run kids from school to after-school activity to lesson to home to school to…you get the idea.
That’s wild right? I mean, sign me up already…
